Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy is for residents of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and other US states whose laws protect consumer health data. It explains how Rent-O Software LLC ("Traack") collects, uses and shares your consumer health data and how to exercise your rights. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Consumer health data we collect
- The meals and ingredients you log, with their calories, nutrients, portions and photos.
- Your nutrition targets and goal (bulk, cut or maintain), sex, current and target weight, weight check-ins, planned calorie deficit and the statistics derived from them.
- Activity and energy data: the calories burned you log and, if you turn on sync, body weight, active and resting energy, total calories burned and basal metabolic rate from Apple Health or Health Connect.
- The messages, voice recordings, live call audio and photos you send to the AI coach, if you use AI features.
2. Why we collect it
To provide the features you ask for (logging, targets, trends, statistics and progress), to run the AI features you allow, to show your meals to other users if you turn on sharing, and to keep the service secure. We never use consumer health data for advertising.
3. Where it comes from
- From you, when you enter it or take photos in the app.
- From Apple Health or Health Connect, if you turn on sync.
- From our own calculations and AI features, which derive estimates (for example, calories from a photo) from what you give us.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell consumer health data. We share it only:
- With our processors, which handle it on our behalf and under contract: Google (Firebase and Google Cloud hosting, database and storage) and, only if you allow AI features, OpenAI.
- With other Traack users, only if you turn on meal sharing (your shared meals, including photo, calories, macros and goal).
- With authorities, when the law requires it.
5. Your consent
We ask for your consent before we collect consumer health data, and we ask separately before we share it: AI features and meal sharing are separate, optional choices. You can withdraw your consent to sharing in Settings > Privacy, and your consent to collection by deleting your account.
6. Your rights
- Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including the list of third parties and affiliates it was shared with and how to contact them.
- Delete your consumer health data. Delete your account in Settings or email us; we also instruct our processors to delete it.
- Withdraw your consent to its collection or sharing.
- Appeal a refusal by replying to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state Attorney General (in Washington, atg.wa.gov/file-complaint).
7. How to exercise your rights
Email support@traack.app from the address linked to your account. We respond within 45 days; if we need more time (up to 45 more days), we will tell you why. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
